May is National Foster Care Month. There are more than 19,000 Arizona children in foster care, but there are only around 4,500 licensed foster families. We want to do our part to raise awareness for the need for foster homes.
For every eye exam performed by Pearson Eyecare Group in May, we will donate $1 to local foster care and adoption service agencies. Additionally, Pearson Eyecare Group will match all patient donations dollar for dollar. Last year we raised over $8,500 for local adoption and foster care service agencies. Let's continue to make a difference in the lives of these children.
